So I decided what keyboard I wanted -- after playing around with a few, the
pocketVIK had the best feel of the portables I found. Of course, local stores don't carry it for iPaq, and I wasn't sure about compatibility, but just finding the hardware was a good start. (By the way, I realize flexible plastic keyboards aren't to everyone's taste, but I'd really recommend checking these guys out. Nice feel to the keys.)
So, this morning I called the company, and they think the current drivers will work just fine, though they haven't had a chance to play with the 2215 themselves yet. So I have carte blanche to call up and yammer at them if there are any problems. And then, while I was talking to them I just happened to stumble on their yahoo shopping page, where they're selling a couple of iPaq keyboards with cosmetically flawed packaging for half price. So not only am I getting my keyboard, but it's going to be less than $25 including shipping.
Though I almost wonder if I should have shelled out the money to get it overnighted... I want it here now, dammit!
