One effect of this move, so far, is that I am becoming much more of an internet shopper. Not sure how far this will go. My wardrobe is boring and predictable enough that I probably could do most of my every day stuff online. (Heck, I bought a lot of it from Costco back in Seattle.) Book shopping online is different, but rewarding. (I believe in supporting small local bookstores, but I don't particularly need to support Buns and Noodles, and the small bookstores don't have a lot of what I want. Heck, neither does B&N a lot of the time...) I would not have predicted buying plants online, but the carnivorous plants seem to be doing well, and I might just be buying herbs online if I can't come up with a decent source for Persicaria odorata seeds... And then there's chocolate. Ah, chocolate...
I am thinking vague thoughts of doing a little shopping for non everyday clothes ones of these days. I really like some of the drapey-clingy dresses and tops that I've been seeing around.
