Had a lovely dinner and then compline and then this trully divine tart with the biomassians yesterday. Much fun, though I'm feeling a tad bit old now.
Hadn't been to a compline in years... I don't remember the crowd being so young (but then, I was rather younger myself). I *really* don't remember so many people sitting on the floor, the stairs, lying on the floor and looking up at the ceiling...
Very stiff this morning, but mostly not too bad once I'd stretched. There's this weird bunch of sore muscles or something in my right ribs, though. It seems to have some relationship with the neck to shoulder to back of the the shoulder blade thing I've been tussling with. It's better than it was, but it still hurts to breath a little.
Got my allergy shot today (and now have an only hen egg sized knot on my arm -- even after weights this evening -- to prove it) got bitched out for not telling them I'd been having problems with my asthma when they asked if I'd been sick (I hadn't been sick! If I'd been sick, I wouldn't ahve gone to wushu and had problems with my asthma) and after a moderate amount of hullaballoo they decided that a) my shot wasn't going to suddenly kill me (duh!) b) my idea for how to deal with the increased problems was probably the right thing c) they'd give me some more nifty inhaled steroids (not my favorite thing but I'd rather use them than huff albuterol all the time and d) I should come in for an appointment anyway. But mind you, by the time they can get me in, it really ought to have resolved itself. OTOH, they might try me out on some other asthma meds, and I'm not entirely adverse to that idea.
Yup, this are the people who thought I might be able to go off the stuff I have been taking because the shots should have lowered my sensitivities. Feh.
