I am in the happy situation of having both fresh morels and three gorgeous fresh birch boletes. (Birch boletes -- lecinums, really -- are usually a fall fruiting mushroom, but there is often a small fruiting in spring, and this year's in being particularly nice.)

Must cook.

Spent much of the day hiking. What incredible weather -- it felt like summer (complete with lavender scented sunscreen). The idea was an eight mile hike, but at the first lake (which was beautiful) we lost the trail amidst snow drifts.
