Okay, I'm dreadfully behind on the next article, but I think I can get it wrapped up tomorrow. Yesterday I did a bunch of errands and then cooking (actually, the cooking was all pretty simple -- I love this time of year, fresh summer produce makes for elegant meals and easy preparation). This morning it was off to the demo -- complicated by horrible parking -- which went decently. Then dashing off to wushu (of course, I mostly just watched) and then home to dissolve into a puddle.
And then more cooking. Let me say again, I really like this time of year. Cooking, in this case, meant chopping up peppers, mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, a small onion, and some pieces of chicken and throwing them into a clay pot with a fresh bay leaf, some basil, some crushed garlic and a glass of wine. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes, and there you are. Last of the freckled lettuce for a salad and some egg noddles to sop up the broth.
Tomorrow I have at least one appointment, maybe two, and maybe X-rays. (Feh. But my chiropractor won't set my neck or my hips without them, so I can only look forward to getting them done.)
Now if I can just sleep decently tonight... PT wants me to wear the wretched neck brace to bed, and it possible would mean that I'd wake up less sore but if there's a way to sleep with the dratted thing around my throat I haven't yet found it.
And I need to plant a bunch of starts. And start more starts. And teach the cats how to weed for me.
