Kind of a weird day for double class. Probably sat out less than I have since the accident. But my thurassic spine was all touchy during sword, and causing intermittant headaches. Finally ended up doing a lot of extra standing meditation during the first part of Chen when the rest of the class was doing silk reeling, which seemed to mostly resolve it. And then my hip was all tweaked, which was not anything like so painful, but very annoying when it comes to doing the forms properly. (Near the end, when I was pretty tired, Shifu was correcting me for leading with my arms instead of my center. Which is true, I was doing that, but... my center is all wobbly and strange, and try as I might my kua keeps closing on the right side, and I just wanted to curl up and whimper.)
But I think, as frustrating as it was, it was overall a good day, and I think the fact that I'm starting to be able to work through this stuff by doing taiji is a very good thing. Kind of fruck out by how much ground I've lost with my body, though.
I've lost my cell phone. With luck, it's in my car...
