(no subject)

Zukia is home again, as she completely failed to stall during several days of test driving at the shop. I have some ideas how to provoke a stall come Monday... but then again, it seems like the worst thing that happens is I have to let her sit for about 15 minutes, and then spend a little more time getting her started -- not acceptable over the long term, but not awful over the short term, either.

Did the Redmond farmer's market. tshar hadn't been before, which made it all the more amusing. Resisted buying the most perfect, luminous green beans that looked as if they were carved of jade, because I thought I had plenty. Was wrong. (Really fresh vegetables usually seem luminous to me. Is this just me being overly enthusiastic?)

Reinstalled the upstairs toilet -- or rather, craigp did the heavy work, and saved me from making a really stupid mistake, and I did a lot of weird contortions on the bathroom floor so I could guide things into the right place, and didn't lose any fingers.

corivax and plantae came over for resume hacking, and then kindly stayed to help us deal with some of the overabundance of food my foray to the farmer's market left us with. And some of the huge quantities of rosemary in the front garden (has anyone else noticed that there is only a fine line between "not enough rosemary" and "way, way too much rosemary"?)
