(no subject)

Nice hike to Grieder Lake, and good company. I need to remember that this is a good time for it -- the steep hillside behind the lake is covered with foliage turning red and gold. Reflected back on the surface of the lake, it's really spectacular. I did a bit of skinny dipping (having stripping and thrown myself into too few bodies of water this year) but I'd forgotten to bring my sandals, and the rough surface defeated my tended toes. Still, the dip was nice.

I'm two days into trying to ramp down my anti-inflamatories again. Which may or may not be why I have a pounding headache -- neck's not happy about something. I'll give it at least another day...
