Oct. 19th, 2003 02:35 amFriday: Altogether a good day, even through the constant arguement between the wind and my hair. Overdid it a bit in wushu (Friday is double class, and the first class is fundementals, which seems to be my current most likely to break myself deal), but I was still participated in 3/4 of the class, which isn't bad. Didn't over use my psoas too much, but something went "thunk" and hurt a bunch in the right side of my SI joint. But then it hurt less, and unthunked itself -- this process repeated a few times. Not sure that it's a long term bad thing, but it left the surrounding muscles too tired to last through forms, which was too bad.
Saturday (today in the sense I haven't yet slept) though, I woke up and could still walk. Managed to get food together for gaming (no, I realize I'm under no obligation to feed people at gaming, I just like feeding people, and my current schedule doesn't allow enough) and gaming was amusing, if it left me in desperate need of caffiene. Errands were run, useful discussions were had, and then off to Gaia Consort. Which was awfully fun, even if I was trying to take it easy.
And then back home and staying up too late.
So much for that earlier schedule. (Or worse, it's all too likely I'll just short myself on sleep. Again. I think my body can't believe it's time to sleep, because I haven't done wushu today.)
