I think this is really cool. (BTW, my understanding is that there have been pills tested and found effective before, but the side effects -- which were similar to or less than those associated with the pill for women -- were considered to great to make it viable.)
The comments in the article were interesting in another way... Women and their nefarious plans? I mean, really -- yes, it's important for men to take control of their own fertility (though it's not like they haven't been able to do so!) And all the comments from men who wouldn't even consider hormonal options? (Again, I have some sympathy, and yet one wonders if their caution extends to their female partners... or if this is just another of those bits where women are at risk of pregnancy, and men aren't. Which is a pretty silly idea when you look at women's nefarious plans...)
