Apr. 22nd, 2004 11:35 amNote to self: Really, when the shoulder is out of whack, don't go through the entire sword class. Or go through it empty handed. Muscular control is a wonderful thing, but you'll still end up irritating the joint...
(In my defense, Shifu was out of town, and a lot of people in class are still struggling on memory with one of the forms. Of course, I took some time during warm ups in Chen to work the shoulder, and the joint did open up, and felt pretty decent by the end of class.)
Actually, come to think of it, most of my back being sore is probably all those Iron Buffaloes. Sometimes it really irritates me that not only is wednesday triple class day, but it's endurance training day in wushu. Though just from a hot bath and stretching, I'm feeling mostly better.
