Well, so far today is looking up. Woke up with my shoulder sore, weak and kind of pulled forwards, but a bunch of stretches, and a few gentle crunching noises, and it seems to be mostly behaving itself now. A little weak, but I'm hoping that will pass. No sudden and only vaguely explicable bouts of nausea. A reasonable amount of sleep. I think I might try to do garden and house stuff today.

I really wish I understood a little bit more about why I get some of these weird hormonal fluctuations. This last one -- far and away the worst I've dealt with -- kind of seemed to be in part linked to working into one of the areas that had been badly injured. It kind of makes me wish it was easier to run up blookwork (or hell, just get blood out of me) -- I felt weirder for longer this time around, and I'm suspecting it wasn't all estrogen.

Even though I feel like I'm retaining water like crazy, all my summer clothes are fitting loser. Including in places I really didn't expect. I know slow and steady is the best way for these things to go... but sometimes dramatic would be more entertaining, I think...

I love my electric rechargable weed whacker.

No cords. No gas. No stench. It's quiet. It whacks weeds with great enthusiasm.

And then it runs down, and needs to be recharged. At about 45 minutes to an hour on one charge. I kind of look at that as a feature.

My garden is a holy, hellacious mess.

But less of one now.

Argh! Finally got around to putting together the steel cable grapevine support thingie. It's all in place...

...except I need one more cable crimper. I can't believe it. I got extras of all the hardware, but somehow missed an extra cable crimper? Even though it's easily the easiest piece to mess up... Feh.

Oh well. For my next trick I think I'll install the big cushy rope hammock. And I then I will go on a quest... for someone to come sit on my big cushy rope hammock with me. (Okay, I don't know if it really counts as a quest when I already have people in mind.)
