Joy and wonderment: Not only is our much beloved housekeeper, Yang, back, but while she was here today, and asking for some advice on how to use her DVD burner, she in turn was able to help me with a couple of characters in one of my classical translations that I simply could not find in the dictionary. And she rather flatteringly told me at some length how hard it was, moaned over the fantizi, and talked about how reading modern doesn't really help at all, first.

And then [livejournal.com profile] corivax found the nicest little Laurus noblis I've ever seen for sale (at a very good price, too) and brought it home.

And I can mostly breath again. Hopefully this means I will be in good shape for double class on Wednesday.

But right now I'm working on an excessively boring paper. Not a difficult one -- it's on a system I've already finished, and given a presentation on, and I have a well developed outline and know what I want to say... but I've already said it before, and am sick of it. And am still a little tired and sick.

So say something entertaining! Make a joke! Tell me off! Say something encouraging! Please! I get to check livejoural every page... (hey, it keeps me going.)
