Whee. Twleve hundred words. (No, not really that much, but I'm starting to think that I'll finish this story, and I'll have it under the length limit. At least after editing.) Writing in the first person is kind of odd, though it does keep things moving. It's interesting for Charlotte's voice to be so clear to me when she is both so focused, and yet so dispassionate in how she relates her experiences.
