Anyone who thinks that Kill Bill, for instance, was gratuitously violent, should just try to watch Ricky O. Just five minutes of Ricky O. I can't manage more than about 30 seconds... (And I really enjoyed Kill Bill. Heh. One of my professors last quarter referred to Kill Bill as Tarrantino's dissertation on the martial arts genre, which is about perfect.)
