Twilight and Night

This morning I woke before dawn, and dawn seemed to come not that much sooner, despite the shift away from daylight savings time. But I didn't really notice that, not during the trip over to campus, not heading back to the lab after my first class... at 11:20 or so I left my next class, and passing outside it was still dark. Not dark like night, but twilit, as if afternoon were already fading into night. When I headed back home round 4:30, it was darker still, but not all that much. Now it is night.

People say Seattle has no seasons. And it is, even today, while raining and windy, mild.
