(no subject)

Haven't been posting much. Very busy.

My project is a mess. And we have a site visit from our Microsoft VP on Tuesday. I think the site visit is pretty much together. My project... well, I keep working on it, so apparently I haven't given up hope. Or maybe I'm just stubborn like that. I had this plan where the last bit before I left I was going to just wrap up loose ends around the lab and otherwise completely slack. I fail.

Really, my life has mostly been "Go to the lab. Spend day in lab. Go to some martial arts thing in the evening. Get beaten up." I'm having a vague sense that I need more in my life than this... but not really much more. Really, this works pretty well.

However, some of that more is probably a bit of down time. A day that I spend at home, doing quiet homey things. Oh, and then there's all the stuff that I need to get done before I go... it's not being entirely neglected, but this last week wasn't that productive that way, either.

Despite my previous protestations of not having a life, I spent time with cadmus yesterday. Even though I might even see more of him when I'm in Ohio than I do since he moved down South, I am reminded of how very far away many people will be.

And then I attended birthday festivities for chinchillagirl today. So really, I must have a life ;-)
