(no subject)

Still sick. Felt a little better this morning, in some indeterminate way that didn't involve aching less, but did involve being able to think about things other than how much my life would be improved by lying down *right now*. (This last is a problem while working on dissections.) Saw doctor anyway. Doctor told me that I would likely feel worse tomorrow. She was optimistic. Went to lab meeting (hey, it was across the street). By the end of the lab meeting wanted to crawl into some random corner and go to sleep right then. Was feeling pretty optimistic about brain stem exam tomorrow. Now... mostly hard to care. Meant to study. Actually, have been studying. For whatever good that does me...

"Where exactly are the lymph nodes on the back of you neck?"

"Oh, they're right --"

"Ow!"

But hey, she also gave me printed copies of my blood tests, which gave K and I at least an hour of amusement.
