Ortlieb panniers are even cooler than I'd realized, and after contemplating getting them for years, and then having and using them for years, that really says something. They're the most awesome commuter bags, especially in bad weather. Of course. But I've only been doing really serious shopping with them recently. (It's that I've been picking up a lot of stuff for Kendrick - on my own I just don't get enough heavy stuff. Okay, maybe when I'm buying big bags of grain.) I wan a little afraid that I'd be writing and entry entitled "Ortlieb 1, Freezer 0" but we got it all in.
I might have to buy one of the duffels that clip on top of the panniers next. (But... unless I'm doing serious touring, I'm not sure I can justify it.)
Oh, and apparently of people in the 2k radius of Case, when bicycling one must wear scrubs. Everyone was very friendly, but I'd clearly missed the dress code.
