Dec. 3rd, 2008 12:06 pmIt occurs to me that best practices for managing being sick and managing grief from my spine are pretty different, and I'm better at the latter. With my spine, for instance, if I feel lousy, dragging myself out and doing something physically active is pretty much always a good idea. It's pretty much reflexive, now. I get the try to get a lot of sleep part of being sick... but apparently doing my regular schedule yesterday was a bit much. Even though I skipped yoga in the evening. (Even though I skipped Taiji the night before - and I almost never cancel that class.)
Now I have the most amazing case of downward energy. My knees kind of wobble when I walk. It's not exactly unpleasant (well, my shoulder hurting is unpleasant, but it's not that bad) but...
