Apr. 9th, 2010 12:14 pmYay! My slugs, they are breaking. They are breaking consistently, and appropriately, and staying broken. And yet, the exact nature of the breakage remains mysterious. (I got to show a couple of colleagues who've worked on slug biomech some of my results yesterday, and they are impressed - well, okay, one of them wasn't aware of my surgical technique, so partly he was amazed that I could even work on those muscles - and bemused.) While in some ways what I'm finding is almost the opposite of what I expected, honestly, I like this even better. I mean, data is great. Data and a puzzle? With a cherry on top!
I'm trying to decide if I should put more time into R, or just figure that python will do everything I need for the time being. (Matplotlib is my buddy. I'm trying to learn the blender interface now...)
Oh, and the farmers were right - winter wasn't quite done with us.
