Thursday evening I rather abruptly felt sick again, so Friday morning I didn't run. Though even by the end of forms it was sounding like a good idea, sort of. Saturday I did run - something in my upper thoracic was a bit out, which hit my stamina, but that mostly meant I didn't run farther than I had before. And then later I got everything in place. I thought about running more, but decided to run this morning instead.

This morning I was really sore, but didn't really realize it until I was out doing forms. It was a good practice... eventually. My legs were a little sore, but it was mostly the part of my upper back that had been fruck. And nothing big with alignment, so after about half an hour everything warmed up and really got working. And after about an hour and twenty minutes I went running.

If my body could talk, I suspect I would have learned some new profanity. But as usual, after a bit of squawking things settled down and worked. Again I didn't go any further. Stil alternating running and walking, but I'm able to push the running farther. Well, generally - the last few intervals I was really pushing, and the very last one was a bit too much. But in a happy exhausted endorphins sort of way.

Oh, and I forgot to bring my albuterol inhaler with me, so I ran without... and it was fine.

Got actual work done on that board I keep not working on. Made a lot of food this weekend - bread, caponata, humus... every has their munchy thing, right? The one they will just keep eating if it's around? Apparently mine - or one of mine - is garbonzo beans that have been cooked in the pressure cooker. So much more flavor that way. So creamy good. Just plain. Just like that. K advised me to allow for 15% lossage due to munching... I suspect he thought that was generous, but I think it's just about right.
