May. 27th, 2010 05:56 amMy body is so enthused about my new routine... I am suffused with a general sense of well being... an achy, creaky sense of well being. (I really munged my shoulder but good at yoga on Tuesday... it was kind of damaged to begin with, and then I had to show off pushed it really hard.) I swear, I can hear it: "So? Are we going back to wushu? Huh, huh? That would really be awesome. Wushu is good! You've been spending so much time on grad school recently - what's with that?! Hey, maybe we can do some of that ab work before we head out to run today...!"
I guess when I acclimated to higher level of activity, it was a one-way trip? I mean, any reasonable body would be all "Ow! Tired! Sore! Don't wanna get out of bed!"
ETA: Also, reasonable bodies, I'm pretty sure, do not sing songs about bagels and glycogenesis.
Darn, that's what I get for taking biochemistry. (Body got both the ab work and the bagel.)

I wanna bagel.
I wanna bagel,
I want glyco-gene-sis!
