Yay shortest day!

Yay longest night (to come)!

(...though I don't expect I'll be up particularly late or anything exciting like that.)

Yay upcoming trip! Yay tabi that (mostly) fit and can probably be locally altered to entirely fit. Yay Tracey's first Python lesson (inshallah!) Yay lunar eclipse, even if it was on the other side of a lot of clouds and snow and I didn't get to see it directly.

A little less than two hours ago I was rear-ended by a large van while on my way to the cobbler's.

I think I'm pretty much okay. (A little shaken, a little sore, yadda yadda. I'll see how I feel tomorrow.) The car has a dent in its bumper, but seems otherwise okay. But I'm in the obligatory wait for the obligatory ER visit. Student health was very insistent that I go. Feh.

What is it with me and cars? I'm pretty sure it's not my driving, especially since once again I was hit while appropriately not in motion...

Okay, going home. Bones are fine, they assure me I will feel much worse tomorrow. (We'll see. Hard to say.)
