Aug. 23rd, 2012 09:44 amFirst run in a bit. Not sure if it's more because my feet are doing or just because I'm frustrated with my SI joint. (SI joint seems to be cause most of the foot problems.) I ran... half a mile. Uh-huh. Look, I'm trying to head back into this carefully, and not give myself another case of achilles tendonitis. I have this theory about how is I'm appropriately careful this will help my SI joint stability and mean I can run more.
Good workout, too. (I mean, the rest of it. Half a mile run was mostly enough to get my body stuck between "WTF?" and "Oh, hey, this is great, whaddaya mean it's over?")
And now into school, where I get to present our lab at some new grad student luncheon. (Also, I agreed that starting spring semester, if everything is going well, I'll take on the grad student organization, or something. At least the side of it that isn't all about drinking. Because, y'know, we could use a side this isn't all about the drinking.)
What am I thinking?
