Dec. 25th, 2003 11:37 pmHow oddly relaxed I feel now.
Spent most of the day with my family. Getting ready and getting there was a little stressful ('specially the part where I lost my shoes) but things went pretty well. I really do love my family. Prolonged exposure can be a strain, but I do love them. Eggs benedict, presents, gossip, Tracey, a not-so-quick break by Craig's work to catch our breath, over to Mom's food, reading from a script of Sam's latest play, and more presents. (Note: net haul for me, two bars of fancy soap. And Mom's going to buy a deserving South American a hive of bees in my name, and ducks in Craig's. Which is cool.)
And then off to the open house at
rubylou,
jeliza and
drakemonger's, which is probably why I'm so mellow.
