Sep. 4th, 2005 10:02 pmI can't really call it hiking, but a bit of time rambling around in the rain, collecting wild ginger and looking for (but not finding in particularly interesting ways) mushrooms was certainly pleasant. Convincing the chef at the Sultan Bakery to make me a Tuna Philly (which was awfully tasty) was also fun. (Though I'm sniffly now, and perhaps I shouldn't have had the milk products.) Calculus and beginning Chinese lessons, and actually getting up high enough to get really and trully chilled rounded it out nicely. I'm tired now, but in a pleasant sort of way, though I promised Craig to make us something with the wild ginger before going to bed tonight. And tofu, pattypan squash, hot peppers, sweet peppers, green beans and bamboo shoots, I think.
