Sep. 19th, 2005 04:53 pmThere is this curious swimming upstream feeling one gets when walking from Health Sciences to the hospital proper. It's not an all at once sort of thing, but gradually, as one progresses along the halls the floor becomes more level, a real ceiling is acquired, and everything becomes newer, brighter and more sterile. By the time I made it to the "surgery pavillion" we were well into late ninties ugly glass and metal and lots and lots of light.
And no, I can't get my prescriptions transferred to the pharmacy here (for crying out loud, I work in a building that is contiguous with a hospital, and I'm going to have to go to the Rite Aid) until such time as I get a PCP at this hospital. Gr.
