Pie is made, bread will come out of the oven in a couple of minutes, everything is ready for borscht, and the salmon is soaking in the honey wine sauce under a hazelnut crust...

Life is good. Though is still feels odd not to be cooking for at least a dozen, not having the brick oven going, no lamb, not making stuffing (there will be stuffing, I just will not have made it...)
