Our C. mountrouzieri seem to be grazing contentedly on mealy bugs. However, the stop killing mealy bugs for a few days strategy is made of fail - I had no idea the numbers would increase this rapidly, or I'd have just stopped killing mealy bugs when the order came in. I've done a little population leveling, as this will soon stop being an option. (C. mountrouzieri larvae look like mealy bugs, so soon we won't be sure what we're killing.)
I went out to train, once again alone, and it was raining lightly. So I headed over to my favorite tree to stretch (it is big and beautiful and provides shelter from both sun and rain - I keep thinking I should take monthly pictures of it over the course of a year). Of course, the ground is now saturated, which means that if I do forms I'll be tearing up the grass. I stretched a little and contemplated my options. And it started to rain very hard. Not as much fun as a thunderstorm, but it's not like I mind getting wet. (Though when the apartment is still wet too...) Then I had a sneezing fit. And it rained even harder.
Well, okay. Screw it. By the time I was back upstairs the west window was covered with sheets of water. I think I will indulge in my favorite having the apartment to myself activity of more yoga while listening to NPR, and figure out what I'll do about forms later.
