Nov. 21st, 2011 07:32 amIf I'm generally on the even less posty side...
My sister is in town through Thanksgiving, and we've been exchanging tips for the bodily fried. (Okay, that her train got in Sunday at 3:30am doesn't help anyone.)
And yeah, I am bodily fried, despite not, say, being in circus school. But it's the regular sort of bodily fried, as in the kind that will be fixed by a bionic spine. (Hey, I have an appointment scheduled specifically to talk about having a bionic spine installed. Well, okay, just one segment of a bionic spine, but still. Also to talk with someone on the research side about some kind of spine stimulator.*) A little grumpy that the gabapentin even in ridiculous quantities isn't doing it for pain management, but there you go. Gapabentin + naproxin might manage. Maybe I should pick up more muscle relaxants.
I'm more concerned about L's being bodily fried. I mean, she'll be going back to circus school...! But a lot of her stuff is pretty similar to some of my stuff, which is kind of interesting. Some sacral issues. Her femur not being securely held into her hip socket... It took me ages to come up with good strategies for all of that, but then she gets the final product. Or she would if there was a final product.
* Which is awesome, but more than a little frustrating, as I don't know exactly what is involved.
