Got home tonight from Tai Chi (actually, from sword, and then the Chen class deciding to go out and have dinner together ;-) ) by myself, Craig having returned to work to finish up a few things. I got out of the car, gathered up my apple syrup, and headed in to the house. It was very dark (forgot to turn the porch light on) and I had one of those moments of being afraid that someone was going to jump me... which is pretty darned rare, especially in front of my own house.

And probably the only reason I remember it is that I'd left two gallons of apple cider on the porch, and when I mounted the stair I saw that one of them seems to have been kicked -- or at least moved several feet from where it had been, turned on it's side, and the contents spilled over the porch. The plastic ring was back where the jug had been, the lid was ever farther away than the jug (in the same direction) and I'm really not sure what happened.

Of the two kinds of cider, it wasn't my favorite... and I believe Minea Farms will be open tomorrow, so it will be easy to replace. But... yeargh.

Craig's big box of videos had been delivered (along with another thermostat for the fridge, pity I don't need another one...) and I guess it's possible that the FedEx guy tripped over the cider, though I'm a little boggled by the destruction in that case. It's minor vandalism if vandalism it is, but creepy.
