tylikWaiting for Craig so we can go see the midnight showing of The Two Towers. Such geeks. (Did this last time at the last minute, had a blast.)
My bathroom is gold. It's very cool, though a little brighter than I was aiming for. (The pale gold was exactly right. The darker gold was exactly right. Unfortunately, a thin layer of the darker gold over the pale gold -- which you get a lot of when sponge painting -- comes out... well, orange. I like the effect, but at the same time it's a little like being encased in an egg yolk. But it's very cheerful. Now I need to get new fittings and a new light fixture. Oh, and get the toilet back to it's accustomed location.
Taking the tape off after painting is the most fun. All the sudden you go from having a remodelling project to a room.
