Does anyone know what to do about an incomplete import from LJ?

I was just going over some history... and noticed that a bunch of posts were missing. (All of December 2005, for instance.) I've never killed my LJ, so they're all over there... but I don't know if a reimportation will work, or just totally bork my journal. Anyone

I follow [site community profile] dw_maintenance and it sounds like the LJ importing process has been a nightmare for quite some time, due primarily to LJ (unsurprisingly). I _think_ you can still ask to get into a queue for the DW admins to perform a manual import of your LJ. I do not know what they would do for a partially-imported, partially-not journal, but it is probably worth at least putting in a ticket to ask.

FWIW, I imported stuff from LJ twice - once I don't remember when (but I'm guessing back in 2011/2) and again just before I left LJ for good back in 2017. There were a few duplicate entries, where one import included imported comments and one didn't, but as far as I can tell nothing was permanently lost.

I've recently gone back to look at certain entries that I'm sure existed, that I'm reasonably sure I've seen previously on DW (import was years ago), and haven't been able to find them. But there's just so much there that it's hard to be sure. Is it truly missing, or am I misremembering the dates?
