tylikI went, and I'm glad I went. It was a better experience than I expected... but more to the point there were an awful lot of people, and it was well organized and pretty well focused. Indymedia estimates say 55,000 marched. I would have thought more. Through you could look ahead and see the streets full as far as the eye could see. And then look behind and see the street full as far as the eye could see. Most of the bus ride we took (part of the way back to the car) we could see people still marching one block over.
