Apr. 20th, 2003 03:58 pmSurvived wushu. Decided my lungs were cranky enough I would take some albuterol right before class so hopefully I wouldn't have to take a larger amount during class. This worked, as in, I could mostly breath, but I felt weak and shakey all through class. So class was alright, but it would have been a lot more fun without the albuterol (except the not breathing part). I'm annoyed -- I usually only have to use albuterol a couple times a year, and this is the third time this weak. I'm stepping up the preventative measures, but I'm also going to talk to my allergist when I go in for my next shot. In some ways, this is getting to be some of the worst asthma I've had.
My stances are continuing to improve, though.
I think I'm going to try to push cardio (probably high aerobic to low anaerobic levels) all week, and see if that helps anything. And more bagua. And salt! (Turns out my favorite whole foods bars are also little potassium bombs.)
