Back in wushu!

Okay, well, only kind of. Even though I felt really battered friday after bagua (which might have been from riding in cars and busses without the neckbrace thingie) my body has announced that it wants to be active again. Which I kind of realized yesterday...
Anyhow, I got into uniform and joined the class for warm-ups and stretching, and then just stayed and did what I could. Which is to say not a lot of dropping quickly into low stances, but worked on form practice and most of the upper body stuff (which is actually less hard on my arms than anything else I do, go figure). And it felt really good. Except that I got exhausted and shakey pretty quickly, but it still felt good. I feel immensely better for the endorphin rush alone. Sat our of fundementals, but that was a given -- almost nothing there I can do without hurting myself. Well, do well enough to be worth doing, anyway. Two hours is really a long time to do wushu at a stretch, especially in this heat.
And then we went and watch Cremaster 1 and 2. Which are very strange movies, but intriguing as well.
cadmus, have you checked these out? I can't exactly say you'll enjoy them, but I think you might find them interesting.
