tylikSlow day. Started out with PT and then acupuncture. The acupuncture again threw me for a loop, so afterwards grabbed lunch at twisted sandwich (sometimes one's needs include a meatball sandwich and cream of tomato soup) and then went home and napped. Once again, the acupuncture is really helping my upper spine straighten out, but leaving it kind of weird and touchy in the meantime. Last week I went to bagua, discovered that it was painful to make any large movements with my arms, and sat out most of the class, this week I decided to skip the commute, since I'm pretty sure the outcome would be similar.
In some weird sort of way, I'm actually feeling enough better that I feel more okay about taking time off if I need it. And I'm pretty committed to straightening my upper spine.

solcita arrived today in the mail, so I now just need to get the proper cable to hack the sucker. (Oh, and solcita, if you can mail me your address, and confirm the price of postage, I'll send you a check.) I'm really looking forward to this...
It's not quite eight as I write this, but it's already dark. Overcast and rainy all day. Which also makes it easier to stay inside. Soon it will be time to fire up the oven. The kitties would prefer it be very soon. Meanwhile, a marmalade scented candle (I'm allergic to most scented candles, but these are nice) is burning on the kitchen shrine.
Hiking tomorrow, farmer's market Saturday (the Tilth Havest Fair is also Saturday, I might do that instead, though I don't think I'm entering the bread contest this year). I must pick up the ingredients for a good roast vegetable salad. And maybe make it in the oven, even ;-) Sunday wushu and character creation for dustin's game. (Heh. I think I'm going to be playing someone substantially more omniverous than I am. And less socialized.)
And then I have nothing scheduled until classes on Wednesday. Bliss.
