connectivity happiness

it's still far from a perfect setup, but right now I'm sitting in my favorite cheap Vietnamese restaurant in the I-D, connected to LJ on my PDA and typing this on my rolable keyboard. It does get better than this (I really need a bluetooth phone) but this is defintely a step in the right direction.

And I just had a lovely lunch with rubylou, and despite my earlier grumpiness, I feel much better after seeing the acupuncturist. Whining probably helped too.

wireless data service?

We've been going with T-mobile through our cellphones for a while now, and for the most part we've been happy with them. However, we're both looking at moving over to bluetooth phone and doing a fair bit of wireless internet in the near future, which has us wondering if any other carrier offers a better deal -- we currently have a family plan that's worked well for us, but between getting the phones and adding $40 a month for the internet connection, there is a question as to whether it's worth it...

Anyone have recommendations?
