First fire in the oven, fall must be here.
I have a big pot of chicken chili verde simmering on the stove, and once the oven heats up I will be roasting tons of vegetables for a roast vegetable salad. (And I really ought to make a bread salad one of these days.)
Otherwise I'm kind of low energy. Waited too long to eat today, and so I got all spacey when I finally did. My upper back is being weird, I managed to pull a patch of skin off the bottom of my feet (but my toe is feeling better) and I have no clue if I'll be in decent shape for wushu tomorrow. Feeling kind of depressed, actually. Cooking is comforting.
