Oct. 13th, 2003 12:13 pmI kind of want to go hiking today, but taking it easy also has a certain appeal. Perhaps I'll stay around the house, and maybe go practice forms in the park if I need more outside time. (Gardening is tempting... but it also sounds posturally challenging.)
I could go hiking tomorrow. Oo... I could go hiking *and* skip my optional wushu class.
I'm kind of generally sore. My SI joint is swollen and hates being poked (I just got back from PT, and much poking occurred). My upper back... well, I knew it was sore, that and the torn muscle that connects up into the neck, but I didn't realize how sore it had been until they taped it. We were talking about cutting down my appointments until I asked her about the upper back... It's really not healing quickly enough. I should be able to get off my anti-inflamatories, or at least down to a lower dose by now. (Of course, these muscles have been ripped up before, so no really surprise that they get hysterical easily.)
Oh well. I shouldn't expect the transition from 1.5 to five hours of wushu classes a week to be easy. All considering, that I'm only sore in damaged places, and not horribly sore there is probably a good thing.
