...and I'm feeling like a brat.

[Poll #252973]

(Note: for the purposes of this poll, adorable does not signify, though it does not exclude, romantic interest. Or whatever.)

...aw, heck, I just am a brat.

First interview down. That went really well -- didn't only get a ton of material for the article, but I may well have found us a CSA. And they deliver! And have eggs! And are partnering with an apiary! Whee!

Finally got enough sleep last night. Which made me realize that the reason I kept not eating enough is because I've been sleep deprived so much recently -- when I haven't been getting sleep, I'll often eat lightly because food makes me sleepier. Of course, when I haven't been getting enough sleep, I usually need more food. Throw in training, and the whole thing works rather badly.

I really love sleep. I keep hearing from people who resent how much time they spend asleep... It's always been very easy for me to not be asleep, so perhaps I don't appreciate it enough.

(Also, at a certain point if you're not sleeping enough your muscles stop recovering right, so I'm much less sore than I've been the last few days. Not that it was a particularly awful sort of sore, but it would have sucked had I started this week's training without getting over last's.)

And another interview down.

This is the most amusing project. There are a lot of cool CSAs in the great Seattle area -- this one was put together by the Seattle Housing Authority together with a couple of the P-Patch groups as a way of encouraging entreprenurial gardening and increasing cross cultural interaction among new immigrants. And their gardens are all in the city, which is kind of novel. (I mean, it's cool to get something grown locally, as opposed to shipped 1000 miles... but shipped less than a mile? Darn.)

BTW, did y'all know that most produce makes it to your local grocery store between 8 and twelve days after it's picked? "Picked this morning" sounds pretty good, no?

Dammit, it's not easy yet. But perhaps I just need a break.

Big crampy bit in my lower mid back. Otherwise it's doing well. Put a heat pack on it during my appointment earlier, and promptly almost fell asleep. Came home, iced it for a while, put a heat pack on it again... and again, was immediately overcome by sleepiness.

Now I hear people talking about storing stress in various parts of their bodies, and I have to wonder... am I storing fatigue there? Perhaps another night's sleep will fix it...
