I don't mind rain. I like it, in fact. I like walking in the rain.

Rarely, however, do I end up being this much of a drowned rat.

Pressure cookers are the best thing that ever happened to brown rice. (Thank you dianthus.)

I'm kind of thinking of getting somewhat more hard core about whole grains. There are a lot of advantages, the only disadvantages that are particularly relevant are time related. (Though I'll have to think hard about how I want to handle the bread question. I could start doing more sprouted grain breads, I guess... And of course, sushi rice -- in its proper context -- like sushi, is a vegetable.)

I'm not sure that it really makes sense as long as I'm staying as active as I should be. Cutting out refined sugars, yes. (Unless I go back to five hours stretches of training.)
