Feb. 9th, 2005 11:05 pmI keep meaning to write an entry in FOL. But I'll have to feel burnt out and tired and yet in the mood to be amused by such.
A rat apparently took up residence behind our fridge, and chewed its way into the interior of the fridge. Which is now not getting cold. Possibly this is the same rat that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
corivax and I chased out of the house yesterday. As craigp says, the cats are fired.
And the relatively expensive keyboard I bought to use in the lab (this is the adesso natural with the integrated touch pad) decided to die. Specifically, the touch pad is continuously sending some kind of signal (rather akin to a keyboard having a stuck key). Gah. I've only had it a month, it should be under warantee... but gah. I *need* that keyboard. Anyone know of a local place to get them?
Oh, and I'm flirting with some kind of bug. Almost a relief to realize that -- I've been wondering why I was so drained, and so sore, even after getting enough sleep for several days running.
Tomorrow the housemates will have to deal with at least the first couple of steps of getting a repairman in... it's a little odd to have to say "sorry, I just can't do this". But good, in its way.
