Jan. 29th, 2007 09:07 amAs some of you know, I find myself in the market for a new (to me) car.
I think what I want is a Honda Insight. Yes, I'm thinking about the two seater issue, and that they are no longer being manufactured. This looks to be a bloody pain in the neck, considering how few of them are available. (Amusingly, there are an awful lot of them available in WI, where I will be in just a could of weeks. But maybe there's a reason people don't want to drive Insights in WI? Should I go to WI, and possibly drive one back? In February. Um, I'm thinking not.)
Comments? People following the hybrid thing closer than me? I'd be especially interested in comment on the Honda Civic Hybrid. (I'm figuring I'll hear about the Prius, since so many people I know own them.)
Alternately, I could try to find some kind of short term car solution until I leave (if I leave) so I don't have to drive a car anywhere.
I'm kind of grumpy about having to get a car this soon (though I was seriously thinking about doing it within the next five to eight months) but it's essentially my own fault.
