Continental is now offering paperless boarding passes (you put them on your PDA). Okay, I'm not entirely trusting the system, and printed a backup pass just in case, but it really please me to see more companies supporting paperless options.

The worst part of packing is when I have to go through my "purse" and remove all the tools that are likely to cause problems with TSA. Leatherman and Leatherman Micra. 5" Opinel. Swisstech Utilikey. (If anyone goes after my chopsticks or the titanium spoon I am going to throw feminine hysterics, though.)

The best part is when I find the hat and gloves that I'd been missing for the last few weeks. I was well into that internal dialog about how I'm thirty-five but apparently not old enough to get to have nice things.
