Saw Trek movie. Entertaining. Highly approve of use of alternate reality. Most of the things I don't like about it were pretty true to the show as far as I can recall. I'm surprise I haven't heard more annoyance with gender dynamics. Yeah, Uhura was nicely recast. But still. And the skirts. I'm a bit disturbed that the convention of Vulcans being fairly one dimensional and neurotic as a culture might be upheld.
