This is definitely the sort of day where I look out the window at the snow, and the falling snow, and the snow blowing sideways and think "I don't want to do this."

Of course, today I'm teaching a class, and about half of the students are having problems with a piece of software needed for the homework assignments (as in, it seg faults when you try to do the assignment) and I'm certainly not going into that without my forms work. So.

Oh, and my good winter hat? The one in this icon, that has both a visor and ear flaps?

Sunday, on the way back from the Zendo, it was bright and sunny and, oh, maybe 2 C. So on the way back I stripped off my coat and gloves, and finally my hat, stuffing them all into my bag to enjoy the sunshine.

Monday, my hat wasn't in my bag. I assume it fell out somewhere along the path.

I have other warm hats with earflaps, but none that keep the snow off my glasses. Not that they'd be entirely successful today anyway, but visors help, really.

Darn it, I like that hat.
