Livejournal has been my mainstay for a while, and I'm reluctant to take on more time-sucks... but I also feel like I ought to know what people are doing. And an awful lot of people I know seem to have migrated to facebook. Then there are those who opine I should get a real blog. (Would that mean I'd have to write a real blog? Huh...) I keep thinking of playing more with Dreamwidth, though it seems to be largely livejournal for people who don't trust livejournal anymore.
Also: I was going to make a snide comment about companies that sell "70% extra dark" chocolate. (Foo. Less than 70% isn't really dark.)
But then it occurred to me that I should check again to see if Grenada chocolates has answered my frequent pleas to make something darker than their 71... and glee! Yes! they are making an 82! I must put in an order! (I adore Grenada chocolates, on any number of grounds.)
BTW, it's warm here. It's been around 20 degrees most of the day. And the heat is still on (which is probably a good thing, considering that it's mid March. But it's warm.) I stayed home today - I've had a cold, and after studying, sparring, and practicing... well, my practice just kept kind of slowing down and stuttering to a stop. Which is pretty much a first - I kept thinking "but I don't feel that bad..." And I was tired. I still felt kind of silly, but after exhorting K to set a good example by staying home when sick earlier in the week, I figured I'd be a hypocrite otherwise. And then around noon the fatigue crested over my head and I crashed for several hours, which made me really glad I wasn't at the lab.
