Even though I stupidly overstrained my neck yesterday (I explained the process to my chiropractor this morning, and he said he was amazed I could even do that, yay me, I hurt myself in really challenging ways) I actually feel pretty decent today. Sore, yes. Tired, yes, because I didn't get enough sleep. But not "I want to go back to bed tired and sore", more tired and sore like once I stretch out and go through a few forms (Taiji) I might even start looking forward to class tonight. I have that feel that there's more bounce and energy in my muscles. I might be starting to adapt to the new schedule...

I wish I was better at taking naps, though -- another hour or two of sleep would do me wonders.

And I really need to gather tomatoes. No sign (knowck on wood!) of late blight yet, and my legends are resistant, but the cherries are cracking as soon as they ripen.
